Lorraine C. (Tremblay) April, 68, of Manchester, died May 28, 2004 at Brigham & Womens Hospital in Boston.
She was born on September 3, 1935, in Nashua, NH the daughter of Edward and Lydia (DeLisle) Trombly. She was educated in the Nashua school system and graduated from Nashua High School in 1952.
Prior to her retirement, she had been employed by S.A. Mechanical Contractors for 15 years.
She was a communicant of St. Anthony Church and was a member of the St. Anne Sodality. She had been a volunteer at the Elliot Hospital for the past several years.She was a caring wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with her family.
Members of her family include her husband Maurice E. April of Manchester; One son, Steven April of Auburn, NH; One daughter, Mrs. Gregg (Karen April) Hamlin of Acton, MA; One grandson, Nathan Hamlin of Acton, MA; One granddaughter, Ciara April of Auburn, NH; One brother, Maurice Trombly of Nashua; One sister, Mrs. Norman (Muriel) Belliveau of Nashua; Several nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Funeral services were held Wednesday June 2, 2004 from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian burial celebrated in St. Anthony Church Burial was in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Nashua.
Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the St. Anthony Parish Building Fund, 172 Belmont St, Manchester, NH 03103.
