Lorraine L. Bourgeois

March 11, 1932 — January 2, 2022

Lorraine L. (Ledoux) Bourgeois, 89, of Manchester, died January 2, 2022 after a period of declining health. She was under the wonderful care of hospice and her loving daughter, Diane, her son-in-law Al, and her grandson Jonathan.

Born in Manchester on March 11, 1932, she was the daughter of Alfred and Marie (Duhaime) Ledoux. She was educated in the local school system.

Lorraine enjoyed travelling to Hawaii, Arizona, Seattle, and Bermuda. She was very talented at crocheting, ceramics and needle point and had a great love for roller skating in which she took lessons for many years and won many dance competitions.

She was a deeply devoted woman of great faith in the Catholic Church. She was a member of the Women's Guild at St. Pius X Parish for many years and loved to volunteer at craft fairs at St. Anthony Parish.

Lorraine was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and dear friend to many. She will be deeply missed by everyone. Until we meet again, may you rest in Peace.

She was predeceased by her husband Donald L. Bourgeois in 2004.

The family would like to extend their heart felt gratitude for all the love, support, thoughts and prayers to everyone during this difficult time.
She will be deeply missed mostly for her giving and loving heart.. and her beautiful smile. Truly there is nothing like a Mother's love.


Family members include her daughters, Diane Boissy and husband Al of Hooksett, Suzanne Seavey and husband Mark of Arizona; her sons, Lionel Bourgeois and wife Linda of Hooksett, Denis Bourgeois and wife Patty of Manchester, and Ronald Bourgeois and wife Lisa of Manchester; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; one brother, Maurice Ledoux of California; several nephews, nieces and cousins.

Funeral services and interment in the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Precious Blood Monastery, 700 Bridge St, Manchester, NH 03104.

Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, Manchester, is assisting with arrangements.
