She was born in Manchester October 12, 1930 and was the daughter of Hector and Emma (Brouillard) Boisvert. She had lived in Hooksett for many years before moving to Manchester a year ago.
She was a longtime communicant of St. Catherine Church.
She was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Raoul E. Desmarais, who died in 1997.
Family members include four sons, Richard E. Desmarais of Nashua, NH, Ronald R. Desmarais of Bear, DE, Kenneth M. Desmarais of Hillsborough, NH and Daniel G. Desmarais of Rumney, NH; a daughter, Janice D. Desmarais of Manchester; eight grandchildren, Sandra Desmarais, Susan Desmarais, Steven Desmarais, Ryan Desmarais, Jana Tripp-Desmarais, Joshua Desmarais, Scott Desmarais, and Emma Desmarais; a great granddaughter, Jordin Lorraine Desmarais; two sisters, Juliette Lessard of Hooksett, and Germaine Yergeau of Manchester; a brother, Leon Boisvert of NH and FL; nieces nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday, September 12, 2011 in St. Catherine Church. Encryptment followed in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum.
