Lorraine T. Douville (Turcotte), 78, of Hopkinton, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.
She was born in Manchester, on October 28, 1947, to Joseph and Yvette (Kirouac). Lorraine graduated St. George High School In 1965 before attending and graduating from Lynn School of Nursing.
Lorraine worked as a nurse at Elliot Hospital, Bristol Manor Nursing Home, and Easter Seals in the adult day care unit. Outside of her career in nursing, she also worked for and retired from Verizon. A talented pianist, her husband Wayne had surprised her one Christmas with a baby grand piano, which has been displayed and lovingly cared for in her home for many years. She loved traveling with her husband, traveling to Australia and sailing around the Caribbean with her husband and close friends. Many weekends were spent hosting big pool parties or sailing on their sailboat on Lake Winnipesaukee.
She is survived by her children, Kristen Douville of Warner, Jennifer Boynton and her husband Derek Boynton of Hillsboro, her dear grandson, Samuel Taylor of Hopkinton, along with many
nieces and nephews.
Lorraine was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Yvette Turcotte, her husband, Wayne, and her brother Armand Turcotte.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm Street, Manchester from 2pm to 4pm. A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel.
