Lorraine (Hebert) Fitzgerald, 102, of Townsend, MA and formerly of Manchester, passed into God's arms on August 4, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Manchester on August 14, 1919, she was the daughter of Philip and Virginia (Raza) Hebert. She was raised in Manchester.
In her early years, she was employed by Dorson-Fleisher Shoe Company where she was an Auditor of Union.
Lorraine was a communicant of St. Pius X Church in Manchester and was a member of several religious organizations including United Hearts of Jesus and Mary, Women of Mary and an online prayer group.
She was a historian at Jutras Post #43 and was to receive the Boston Post Cane for being the oldest person in Townsend, MA. She was also proficient at knitting, crocheting and sewing.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 65 years, Everett Fitzgerald; sisters, Rachel Petchell and Anita Boudreau; brother, Napoleon Hebert and great-granddaughter, Erica Brown.
Family members include four children, Donald Fitzgerald and his wife, Elaine, of Townsend, MA, Anne Fitzgerald and her husband, Leonard Boisclair, of Bedford, Paul Fitzgerald and his wife, Diane, of Loudon and Kevin Fitzgerald and his partner, Jill Lowell, of Goffstown; seven grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

SERVICES: A calling hour is Tuesday (8/10) from 9 to 10 a.m. followed immediately at 10 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial, all at St Pius X Church, 575 Candia Rd., Manchester. Committal prayers will follow at St. Augustin Cemetery, South Beech Street, Manchester.
