Lorraine C. Grant, 89, beloved wife of the late John Grant, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026 at St. Teresa Rehab & Nursing Center. She was born on September 7, 1936 in Manchester to the late Leon and Valeda (Boisvert) Proulx.
Lorraine was born in raised in Manchester. She attended St. Mary’s High School and was a parishioner at St. Catherine of Siena Parish. She worked at Pandora as a fabric cutter for 29 years before she retired.
Lorraine was very creative and artistic. She enjoyed building puzzles, making sweaters and afghans, dancing and Sunday dinners with her family. She loved her family deeply and was an extreme care giver to them and her friends. She was known to make people laugh with her jokes and made friends wherever she went.
Lorraine is survived by her two sons: Marcel Beaudet, Paul Beaudet and his wife Teresa; her daughter: Colette Field and her husband Michael; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by her first husband and the father to her children: Lawrence Beaudet; her daughter: Monique Pachico; and her four brothers: Leon, Gerald, Roland and Armand Proulx.
A prayer service will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester at 11am. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Manchester. There are no calling hours.
