Lorraine H. Lambert, 88, of Concord, died December 15, 2017 at Presidential Oaks Nursing Home after a period of declining health.
She was born in Manchester on April 20, 1929 to Alexis and Blanche (Brousseau) Soucy. Lorraine was educated in Manchester and was a lifelong resident of the area. Lorraine dedicated herself to raising her family, which was most important to her. Above all, she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister.
Lorraine was predeceased by her beloved husband of 50 years, Robert J. Lambert in 1998.
She leaves four daughters, Claire Normand and husband Eugene of Manchester, Liane Wind and husband James of Loudon, Therese Fournier and husband Brian of Goffstown, and Mary Lambert of Concord; six sons, Paul Lambert and wife Louise of Laconia, Roger Lambert and wife Susan of Goffstown, Albert Lambert and wife Linda of Goffstown, David Lambert and wife Tammy of Webster, Francis Lambert of CA, and Marc Lambert of Dunbarton; one daughter-in-law, Cynthia Lambert of Goffstown; followed by many grandchildren, great grand children, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was also predeceased by one son, George Lambert; her twin sister, Irene Soucy; and two brothers, Alexis and Adrien Soucy.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at St. Anselm Abbey Church, 100 Saint Anselm Dr., Manchester, NH 03102. Committal Prayers followed in the mausoleum at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to NH Association for the Blind, 25 Walker St., Concord, NH 03301.
