Lorraine B. Keroack

Lorraine Beatrice (Laliberte) Keroack, 78, of Manchester died July 2, 2011 after a long illness.

She was born in Manchester on September 8, 1932 to Noel and Louise (Houle) Laliberte. She attended local schools and graduated from St. George High School.

In 1952 she married and moved with her husband to New York state where she raised four children. She was a devoted wife and mother and excelled in culinary arts. She enjoyed working in her flower garden, reading and traveled extensively throughout the United States.

In 1982 she returned to Manchester and, shortly thereafter, was diagnosed with scleroderma. She fought a long and courageous battle with the disease.

IN HER LIFE: The family includes three daughters, Maureen Kunts and her husband, Ronald, of Plant City, FL, Laurie Paeglow and her significant other, Jim Staebler, of Monterey, CA and Kathleen Callen and her husband, Robert, of Aurora, OH; a son, Gary Keroack of Delmar, NY; seven grandchildren, Wesley and his wife, Marina, Alexa, Benjamin, Joshua, Kristen, Monique and Travis; one great granddaughter, Claire; two sisters, Pauline G. Thibault and Diane M. Tanner Curit and her husband, Richard, all of Manchester; and two nephews, Michael Tanner of Candia and Matthew Tanner of Manchester.

SERVICES: A private family service was held in the chapel of St. George Manor and burial took place in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, both in Manchester.

Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory assisted the family with arrangements.
