Lorraine T. Lyons

Lorraine T. Lyons, 72, of Manchester, died November 14, 2001, at her residence, after a brief illness.

Born in Manchester, December 31, 1928, she was the daughter of John and Matilda (Gagnon) Ahern. She was a lifelong resident of this city.

She was a graduate of West High School.

Mrs. Lyons worked for a time at Manchester Knitted Fashions. She later worked several years for the Manchester Housing Authority. In addition she worked as a private secretary for former Manchester Mayor John Mongan.In recent years she worked part time at WalMart.

She was a communicant of St. Raphael Church.

Family members include her husband of 53 years, John C. Lyons of Manchester; a daughter, Cheryl Gianlorenzi of Virginia, Minnesota; 2 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; a brother, Leonard Ahern of Goffstown; nieces and nephews.

There were no calling hours.

Services will be private. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
