Lorraine C. Remillard, 61, of Hooksett died unexpectedly on November 29, 2023, at Elliot Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Devastation was the feeling we all felt when we found out Lorraine had passed, pure devastation. Such an unbelievable person gone at such a young age.
I, her husband Tom, was lucky enough to be married to her for 39 years, Saint Lorraine was one of her nicknames for her uncanny ability to put up with me. Simply put she was the nicest person anybody has ever met. The most common comment the family has received since her passing was that she was “THE BEST”. So short but so true.
Lorraine worked at Fidelity Investments for over a decade. She loved her job, her coworkers, and even her boss - how rare is that? She thought her company was the best in the world.
Her home life was all about her children. She raised three incredible boys who have turned into three unbelievable men. Kyle and his wife Shelby just welcomed their son Brooks to the family. Lorraine was so looking forward to spoiling him. She was counting down the days until Reid and his fiance Angela's wedding in the coming summer.
I am from a family of three boys, Lorraine and I had three boys, so Lorraine was off-the-charts happy when Todd had a baby girl 10 years ago. Sadie was the apple of Lorraine's eye. Grammy and Sadie were inseparable for the past ten years. In that span, she made up for all those years of just boys.
This obituary would not be complete without mentioning the incredible friendship she had with my Aunt Philyis. Casino trips were a common occurrence for those two. Lorraine was also extremely close with her two sisters Fran and Kathy and her brother David. She deeply loved all of her nieces, nephews, in-laws, and countless friends.
Spending time with family & loved ones was everything to Lorraine. This past summer she rented a beach house for a family gathering which everyone attended. It was her favorite vacation that will be talked about forever, and nothing made her happier.
Lorraine C. Remillard brought joy to any room she entered and left a lasting impact on anyone who she ever encountered. She will never be forgotten. We all dearly love and miss her.
She was predeceased by both parents Leo & Velma (Holden) Rolerad along with her father and mother-in-law, Gerry and Shirley Remillard.
