Lorraine J. Riel

Lorraine J. Riel, 73, of Candia, died June 25, 2017 at a local healthcare facility surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Fall River, MA on July 19, 1943, she was the daughter of Ovila and Elozia Desrosiers.
Prior to retirement, she had been employed by General Cable for many years. Previously, she had worked for JF McElwain Shoe Factory.
Lorraine enjoyed playing bingo, creating artwork, going to the theater and playing online games with her beloved Pogo family. Above all else, she will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister who cherished time spent with family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Richard J. Riel in 2007, her brother Peter and several of her sisters.
Family members include her daughter, Tina Rogers and husband Scott of Candia; her son, Lawrence Riel of Candia; her grandchildren, Chris Giordano and fiancée Samantha, Joseph Giordano and wife Brandy, Zach Riel and companion Kelly, Alex Riel, Brendon Rogers and wife Sarah; her great-grandchildren, Autumn, Karley, Ella, and Gavin.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 1, 2017 in the chapel of St Joseph Cathedral, 145 Lowell St, Manchester. A celebration of her life followed immediately at her home.
