She was born in Manchester on September 24, 1935, the daughter of Napoleon and Aurore (Soucy) Roy. She was educated in the local school system.
Prior to retirement, she had been employed as comptroller for Sears, Roebuck & Co. After retirement she had worked as a bookkeeper for the Derryfield Restaurant.
Lorraine loved making arts and crafts and especially enjoyed painting, sketching, and knitting. She was also an award winning photographer and animal lover. She will be remembered for her heart of gold and willingness to always help others.
Family members include her sister Lillian Ethier of Manchester as well as many nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by four siblings Henry N. Roy, Lucille Rousseau, Ernest Roy, and Rollande C. Roy.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Thursday, December 2, 2010 in St. Catherine Church. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
