Louis R. Jackitis, 59, of Auburn, died October 10, 2002 at Elliot Hospital after a yearlong battle with cancer.
He was born in Manchester, April 4, 1943. He had been a resident of Auburn for the past 28 years.
Mr. Jackitis worked as an engineer for Improved Machinery for many years.
He served in the National Guard.
He was an avid vegetable gardener.
The family includes his wife of 34 years, Carol (Beaudry) Jackitis of Auburn; a daughter Cheryl Jackitis of Manchester; a son Edward Jackitis of Hooksett; a grand daughter; his mother Irene (Wilkinson) Pelletier of Manchester; a sister, Agnes Brown of Tilton; a brother, Arthur Jackitis of FL; a step-brother Paul Pelletier of MA; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service was conducted Tuesday, October 15th, 2002 in Auburn Village Cemetery.

Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester, is in charge of arrangements.
