Louis F. Lachance, 89, of Manchester died April 27, 2004 at Elliot Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Manchester on April 23, 1915, he was the son of Mathias and Delia (Farland) Lachance. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
During World War II he served in the U.S. Army. He then worked at Amoskeag Mills in Manchester for many years.
The family includes his wife of 56 years, Lucille M. (Boisclair) Lachance of Manchester and nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday April 30, 2004 in St. Catherine Church, corner of Webster and Hemlock streets, Manchester. Burial with military honors was also held Friday at 2 pm. in New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.
