Louis F Roy, 66, of Manchester passed away July 25, 2021 of natural causes, at his home in the company his loving family.
He was born in Manchester on April 9, 1955, and was predeceased by his parents Paul E. and Theresa R. (Morin) Roy and several siblings. He attended Manchester Memorial High School.
Louis had been employed by Hermsdorf Fixtures as a Commercial Truck driver and was an asset to their shipping room. He was also employed as a Correctional Officer at the Hillsboro House of Corrections.
Louis enjoyed playing his drums and jammed throughout the years with various family & friends.
He was an avid Grand Funk Railroad fan & considered himself very fortunate when his dream to meet the band, especially the drummer came true. That was one of the highlights of his life! He also enjoyed posing as a bodyguard for entertainer friends who impersonated Elvis.
Dressing as The Hulk was another one of his many antics that always brought a smile to people's faces. Louis was also known for lending a helping hand to family & friends when he was able. He was the "go to guy" for sure. He loved working on classic car and electrical projects as well. During his disability, he occupied himself with projects on his computer which he enjoyed. Most of all, he loved spending time with his loving and devoted wife, family & friends.
Family members include his wife of 45 years, Ann (Mignault) Roy of Manchester; brother Phil Roy and his wife Deb; in-laws Ernest & Pauline Mignault and many nieces and nephews.
No calling hours, no funeral services are planned. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Diabetes or Kidney Foundation.
