It is with great sadness that the family of Louise Lambert announces her passing on her 64th birthday, Saturday, March 24th, 2018. She was one of the strongest women we ever met and she passed peacefully with her family by her side at her home in Laconia, NH after a hard fought battle with cancer.
She was raised in Goffstown, NH by the late Raymond and Christina Arel. At the age of 16, she met the love of her life, Paul Lambert, retired Captain of the Goffstown Police Department whom she was married to for 47 years. Together, they shared the same goal of having a family and raised four amazing children, Charlene, Jason, Brian, and Amanda. Louise dedicated her life to taking care of her family and took ultimate pride in being a wife, a mother, a sister and especially a Nana. She is also survived by her in-laws, Ron, Melissa, Lynn, and Chaz, whom she treated and loved as her own (so much so, that she made separate salads without olives for the picky ones).
She helped raise and auspiciously spoiled her five grandchildren, Riley, Hunter, Sage, Brysen, and Cora. She was best known for her world class macaroni salad and strawberry rhubarb pie, an insatiable appetite for cheesy soap operas, unassailable cribbage skills, strong work ethic, and taking weekday boat rides with her beloved husband.
A graveside service took place on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Westlawn Cemetery in Goffstown, NH.
In lieu of flowers, Louise has asked that donations be made in her name to the Greengard Center for Autism, 95 Brewery Lane, Portsmouth, NH 03801. https://greengardcenter.org/
