Louise Margaret Padfield, 88, of Bedford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 31st, 2021.
Born April 5, 1932 in Richmond Hill, NY, she was the daughter of Ferdinand Dorgler and Margaret (Four) Dorgler.
Louise graduated from Dominican Commercial High School in Queens, NY. She married Donald Padfield on April 23, 1960, and after starting a family moved to Bedford, New Hampshire in 1974. Louise was active in the Bedford Women's Club and Women's Guild at St. Elizabeth Seton Parish.
Louise was a loving wife, and wonderful mother of eight children and dedicated her life to raising her family. She enjoyed traveling and loved singing and dancing. Louise was very special and will be remembered for her warm smile and cheerful outlook on life.
Louise is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald of 57 years; and her sister, Rita.
Louise is survived by her brother, Fred (Maryanne) Dorgler; daughters, Jeanne (Gerry) Bilz, Donna (Brian) Reynolds and Lisa Twitchell; sons Robert Padfield, Paul Padfield, Steven (Dawn) Padfield, Mark (Kathy) Padfield and Donald (Claudia) Padfield; 19 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Friday, February 5, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Seton Parish, 190 Meetinghouse Rd., Bedford. Committal prayers will follow at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 166 So. River Road - Suite 210, Bedford, NH 03110.
