Louise L. Provencher, 84, died on Friday January 1, 2021 after a brief illness at Pheasant Wood Center in Peterborough NH.
Louise was born in Manchester NH on April 27, 1936 to Paul and Rose Emma (Gagne) Savoie.
In 1954 Louise graduated from St. Marie's High School. She went on to Notre Dame College but left to join the Presentation of Mary in Hudson NH eventually making her Profession as a nun and teaching briefly in RI. She later left the Order and returned to Manchester where she married Jean L. Provencher in 1961.
Family members include their three daughters – Anne Jalbert of Laconia NH, Celine Rose of Oakley CA, and Claire Provencher of Manchester NH; 2 grand-children, Kara and Cory Jalbert; and 4 siblings – her twin brother Louis Savoie of DeBary FL, Connie Morrison of DeBary FL, Denise Savoie of Saint Marks FL, and Jean Charles Savoie (deceased) of Mesa AZ; much loved nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Louise was a talented artist and had attained twin degrees in Science and Fine Arts at Notre Dame College. She shared her love of art by teaching classes and creating paintings for loved ones. Louise won many accolades for her art including a paintings called "Bartlett's Corner" and "Bread and Wine" which were shown throughout the state of NH.
In addition to her artistic pursuits, Louise was a caring mother and later looked after her aging parents. Louise was kind and helpful, often sewing clothing for her family and mending for neighbors and friends. Louise enjoyed trips to FL to visit her extended family and scouting trips throughout New England to find inspiration for her painting.
Due to the pandemic, there will be no calling hours or services. A small memorial service will take place at a later date when it is safe for everyone to spend time together.

Private burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Manchester NH at the convenience of the family.
