Louise Mary Roukey

She was born in Mattapan, MA on August 24, 1935, the daughter of Albert and Alice (McSherry) Leveroni. She was educated in the South Boston school system.

Prior to retirement, she had worked as the secretary at Parker-Varney Grammar school in Manchester for many years.

Louise enjoyed golfing and was a longtime member of Intervale Country Club.

She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished her time with her grandkids above everything.

She was predeceased by her grandson Aubery J. Roukey in 2005.

Members of her family include her husband of nearly 55 years Vincent Roukey of Manchester; four sons, Kevin Roukey and wife Jenny of Manchester, Stephen Roukey and wife Mary of Manchester, Thomas Roukey of Kent, WA, Timothy Roukey and wife Lori of Henniker; grandchildren, Thomas, Caitlin, Nathan, Krystal, Sean, Lindsay, Cory Nick and Erin; her brother, Thomas Leveroni and wife Eleanor of Wrentham, MA; sister, Eleanor Caruso and husband John of Medford, MA; nephews and nieces.

The Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Friday, May 10, 2013 in St. Raphael Church. Committal prayers followed in the Shaw Memorial Chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
