Louise T. Sullivan, 67, of Manchester, passed away peacefully in her home on April 18, 2021 surrounded by family.
Born in Manchester on June 28, 1953, she was the daughter of Lucille F. Sullivan Spring and John F. Sullivan. She was the eldest of five children. Louise was devoted to her family and routinely called each sibling every night to check in. She was extremely close to her nieces and nephews and played a major role in their upbringing.
Louise worked at Mt. Carmel Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Manchester for over 50 years. She has the distinction of being the longest serving employee in the history of NH Catholic Charities. She was humble, hardworking and always had a smile on her face.
Louise lived every day to the fullest. When not out with family and friends, she found enjoyment in simple things like listening to music, watching old TV shows and doing crossword puzzles. If you could not remember something, you would ask Louise. Her memory of all things pop culture was second to none.
Louise was a devout Catholic belonging to Saint Catherine of Siena Parish in Manchester but frequently attended mass at St. Hedwig Parish, also in Manchester. Her faith remained steadfast during her illness and was a great source of comfort.
She is survived by her four siblings, Barbara Raulerson, Michael Sullivan and his wife Gloria, Arthur Sullivan and his partner Lisa Dougherty, and Paula Sullivan Woods and her husband Alton; eight nieces and nephews, Amy (Raulerson) Gabriel, Christopher Sullivan, Robert Raulerson, Sabrina (Raulerson) Ngo, Kara Sullivan, Jonathan Woods [Godson], Erica Woods and Ashley Sullivan; one grandniece and one grandnephew, Olivia Gabriel and Julien Gabriel, and her dear lifelong friend Sue Martin.
SERVICES: There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11:00 AM at Saint Catherine of Siena Parish, 267 Webster St., Manchester.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Louise's honor to Mt. Carmel Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Manchester.
Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, Manchester is assisting the family with arrangements.
