Lucianna Croteau

Lucianna "Lena" Croteau, 87, of Manchester, died April 4, 2003, at Hillsborough County Nursing Home, after a lengthy illness.

Born in Lowell, MA, April 20, 1915, she was the daughter of Adelard and Elenore (Laforge) Gagnon. She lived 17 years in Somerville, MA, and had been a Manchester resident most of her life.

She worked as a stitcher at Mammoth Mills for many years.

She was a member of L'Association Canado Americaine, and Cours St. George.

She was married to Elmer M. LaPete, who died in 1980, and Joseph S. Croteau, who died in 1996.

Family members include nieces and nephews.

A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday April 7, 2003 at St. Pius X Church, Candia Rd. Burial followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
