Lucien G. Beaudette, 77, of Manchester, died March 8, 2005 at his residence after a sudden illness.
Born in Manchester on March 23, 1927, he was the son of George H. and Hedwidge (Bedard) Beaudette. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
He served in the US Navy during World War II.
Mr. Beaudette worked as a meat cutter at Grand Union Champagne's and at Sully's Superette in Goffstown for many years.
He was a member of the Catholic War Veterans and the League of 1000 Men of the Precious Blood.
The family include his wife, Solange "Sally" (Pomerleau) (Vachon) Beaudette of Manchester; two children, Collette Oliver of Manchester and George Beaudette of Weare; 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandddaughter ; 4 step children; 5 sisters, Theresa St. John and Lucille Normand both of Manchester; Florence Cimon of Bedford, Rita Pariseau of Portland, ME and Alice Rattigan of Manchester; 3 brothers, Bertrand Beaudette and Paul Beaudette both of Manchester and George Beaudette of Hampton; cousins,nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass was celebrated Saturday March 12, 2005 at Sacred Heart Church, 223 So. Main St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed in Mount Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester. Urn burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester assisted the family with arrangements.
