Lucien R. Gagnon, Sr, 82, of Manchester, died at home February 5, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Manchester on January 25, 1941, he was the son of Louie and Muriel (Bacon) Gagnon. He attended St. Edmund School in Manchester.
Prior to retirement, he had been a heavy equipment operator for the Town of Goffstown for many years.
Lucien loved Ford cars and trucks and enjoyed collecting model antiques. He spent much of his time gardening and maintaining his home.
He was predeceased by his wife, Rita (Gamelin) Gagnon in 2003.
Family members include his children, Lise Marcotte and husband Thomas of Pinardville, Lucien R. Gagnon Jr and wife Lisa of Manchester, Linda Gagnon of Manchester, Lena McLaughlin of Dunbarton; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; his companion, Charmaine Martel of Manchester; his siblings, Lois, Leon, and Lillian; nephews, nieces and cousins.
Calling hours at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, corner of North St, will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Parish of the Transfiguration on Thursday at 11 am.
