Lucien A. Lanoie, 90, of Manchester, died June 6, 2006, at a local health care facility following a long illness.
He was born in Gonic, N.H., March 12, 1916, and was the son of Adelard and Cordelia (Pellerin) Lanoie. He had been a Manchester resident for many years.
He was employed as a Master Plumber for Local Union 131.
He enjoyed playing the trumpet and clarinet and belonged to the local musician's union. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was an avid cribbage player.
He was a communicant of St. Catherine Church and a member of The League of 1000 Men of the Precious Blood Monastery.
Members of his family include his wife of 61 years Anita Y. (LeBlanc) Lanoie, of Manchester; two children, Nancy Labore of Goffstown, and Gary Lanoie, of Allenstown N.H; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; a sister, Beatrice Savoie of Manchester, and Emma Martin of Halifax, Ma.; nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Friday June 9, 2006 at St. Catherine Church, Webster St., Manchester. Encryptment followed in Mount Calvary Mausoleum.

Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St. Manchester, was in charge of arrangements.
