Lucien J. Roy

He was born in Manchester October 14, 1930 to Amedee and Beatrice (Vachon) Roy. He was a lifelong resident of this city.

A veteran of the Korean Conflict, he served 10 years as a Sergeant in the US Marine Corps.

Mr. Roy was employed by Skyline Roofing Co. for many years.

He was a communicant of St. Anthony Church.

Family members include his wife of 50 years Doris J. (Coulombe) Roy of Manchester; three children, Roland L. Roy, Raymond G. Roy, and Jeanne M. Roy, all of Manchester; several grandchildren, great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday, May 2, 2011 at St. Anthony Church, 172 Belmont St., Manchester. Burial, with military honors, followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
