Lucien L. Tremblay, 82, of Manchester, died May 2, 2004, at his residence after a lengthy illness.
Born May 16, 1921, in Jonquiere, Quebec, he was a son of Jean and Albertine Tremblay. He had been a resident of Manchester for 40 years.
Mr. Tremblay was a retired bricklayer and had been employed by the International Union of Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers for many years.
He was a communicant of St. Anthony Church.
He was predeceased by four children, and his wife of 60 years, Paquerette Tremblay, who died in 2003.
Family members include five children, Rachel Tremblay-Wang of Montreal, Quebec, Guy A. Tremblay of Litchfield, Cecile Miller of Coventry, Ct, Rolland "Frenchy" Tremblay of Derry, and Diane Tremblay of Manchester; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass was celebrated Wednesday May 5, 2004 at St. Anthony Church, 172 Belmont St. A committal service followed in Mount Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Greater Derry Boys & Girls Club, PO Box 140, Derry, NH 03041.
