Lucienne A. Achilles

Lucienne A. (Desfosses) Achilles, 84, formerly of 785 Union St., Manchester died March 24, 2002 at the Courville at Manchester.

Born in Manchester on November 13, 1917, she was the daughter of Lucien and Antoinette (Marcotte) Desfosses. She lived most of her life in Manchester and 20 years in Dublin.

Mrs. Achilles worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant at Beech Hill Hospital in Dublin for 20 years. She later worked for the Visiting Nurse Association in Manchester for eight years.

She enjoyed being a resident of the Courville at Manchester and had participated in many activities there.

She was married to Harry C. Achilles who died in 1965.

The family includes two sisters, Marguerite Bedard of Goffstown and Claire Thomas of Manchester; a brother, Raymond A. Desfosses of Goffstown; nieces and nephews.

There were no calling hours. A memorial Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday April 5, 2002 at 10 am. in St. Joseph Chapel, Lowell St., Manchester.
