Lucille was born in Manchester, NH on August 18, 1928 and was a lifelong resident. She was the daughter of Gustave and Eva Rose (Douville) Bouchard of Manchester, NH.
She attended Saint Augustin's Elementary School and graduated from Saint George's High School in 1946. She was well known for her artistic talent.
Lucille was married on January 8, 1955 to her beloved husband Roland. Prior to raising her family, Lucille worked as a Supervisor at the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in Manchester. She was an exceptionally dedicated and very supportive wife, assisting with many of the art projects during her husband's teaching career at Bartlett Elementary School.
Lucille and her husband Roland loved big band music and were accomplished ballroom dancers. She loved the outdoors with her family and enjoyed playing bridge and traveling extensively with her husband.
Above all else, she cherished the time spent with her family and will be remembered as a kind, courageous, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be missed by her surviving family members who include her husband of 58 years Roland; daughter Michele Couture, and her husband William: son Francis, and his wife Carmen, all of Manchester; four grandchildren, Allison (Couture) Erickson, and her husband Brendan, William Couture, Christopher and Gregory Biron; one brother Paul Bouchard, and his wife Muriel, of Hampton, NH; along with her beloved sisters-in law, Claire Bouchard, Theresa Desbiens and Therese Bouchard; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her infant daughter Yvonne; infant son Daniel; three brothers, Andrew, Roland and Maurice; and sister Jeannette.
With grateful hearts, we would like to express our love and appreciation to the many special people in her life. The loyal and dedicated caregivers at Villa Crest, Amedisys Hospice and Easter Seals for their devoted caregiving.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 172 Belmont Street, Manchester. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
