She was born in Lille, ME on June 11, 1922 to Charles and Jane (Tardiff) Langlais.
Lucille was a registered nurse. She received her training from Sisters Hospital in Waterville, ME. She started her career at the Veterans Hospital in White River Jct., VT before moving to Manchester many years ago. She provided nursing care in Manchester at Sacred Heart, Notre Dame and Elliot hospitals as well as several nursing homes throughout her career. She retired at age 75.
She was married to Frederick W. Bradley for 43 years before he passed away in 1987. She was a proud homemaker, loved gardening and was an excellent cook.
Members of the family include two sons, Stephen Bradley and wife, Cheryln, of Leesburg, FL and Michael Bradley and wife, Diane, of Manchester; two daughters, Mrs. Anna Landry and husband, Michael, of Augusta, ME and Mrs. Tressor Demers and husband, Daniel, of Goffstown; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; a sister, Janet Casio of Maine; a brother, Lucien Langlais of New Jersey; two brothers in law, Robert Bradley and wife, Beverly, of Virginia and Sydney Bradley of Florida; a sister in law, Beverly Stryker of Vermont and several nephews, nieces and cousins.
She was predeceased by four brothers and four sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday, May 9, 2015 at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 172 Belmont St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Pine Grove Cemetery, Calef Road, Manchester.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to theVisiting Nurse Association of Manchester. The family would also like to thank all the nurses and aides that took special care of Lucille; her granddaughter, Kate, who was always there for Gram; long time neighbor, Jean, and dear friend Monica.
Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, Manchester assisted the family with arrangements.
