Lucille C. Robidas, 81, of Manchester, died March 19, 2016, at Concord VNA Hospice House after a period of declining health, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Nashua on September 21, 1934 to Alphonse and Ernestine (Lapointe) Robidas. Lucille was a graduate of St. Anthony's High School and lived in Manchester most of her life. She worked as a mortgage processor for Fleet Mortgage, in Bedford, before retiring in 1999.
Lucille always loved to laugh and have a good time, and was always the last person to leave a party or gathering, not to mention always being "fashionably late" arriving. She enjoyed bingo, bowling, shopping, playing cards at family gatherings, going out to eat. Lucille was a very charitable person, but above all, she will be remembered as a very loving and caring mother, sister, aunt and friend.
The family includes one daughter, Susan Robidas, and husband Charles Robitaille of Manchester, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her five siblings: Maurice Robidas and wife Augustine, Jeannette Tremblay and husband Henry, Robert Robidas and wife Rita, Pauline Duclos, and Simonne Gosselin and husband Maurice; and by her long-time friend, Walter Wheeler.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 172 Belmont St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown, Rd., Manchester. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Concord VNA Hospice House, 240 Pleasant St., Concord, NH 03301, or to Catholic Charities, 215 Myrtle St., Manchester, 03104.
