She was born in Manchester on April 5, 1928 to Leo and Alice (Daneault) Gilbert. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
Lucille was the mail and copy center supervisor and a community service volunteer at Catholic Medical Center for many years. She also worked at Harris Xerox. She enjoyed arts and crafts including working with color pencils, oils and new pastels.
She was a communicant of Ste. Marie Church where she sang in the choir and served as a Eucharistic Minister.
The family includes five children, Denise Blouin and her husband, Jacques, of Manchester, Marc Charbonneau and his wife, Susie, of Georgetown, TX, Daniel Charbonneau and his wife, Maryse, of Hooksett, David Charbonneau and his fiancee, Maryellen Hooper, of Dover and Richard Charbonneau of Derry; seven grandchildren and three great grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Teresa Healthcare Center for the care they provided to Lucille.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at Ste. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
