April 3, 1937 — October 31, 2023

Manchester

Lucille Therese (Florand) DeBlois (86) of Manchester died peacefully at rest on October 31, 2023, after a period of declining health.

Born on April 3, 1937, in Manchester, she was the daughter of Rosario and Aurore (Frechette) Florand. She attended St. George Grammar School and graduated from St. George High School.

Lucille was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Ronald A. DeBlois Sr., who passed away in 2000. Together they shared countless memories and built a strong loving family. Lucille was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Everyone was welcomed into her home, and no one left hungry, a legacy that has carried on to her children.

Prior to her retirement, she worked at Colonial Supply and Bedford Farms (Wise). She cherished her job as a homemaker where she took pride in raising her three children. Lucille lived a vibrant life always prioritizing her family’s well-being. She was a parishioner of St. Augustine Parish and a member of Manchester Strides, a senior walking group, where she found joy in exercise and companionship.

Lucille is survived by her son, Ronald A. DeBlois Jr. and his wife Christine from Hollis NH, her daughters Lisa Ware and her husband Eliot from Alabama, and Lynne DeBlois and her husband James Coleman from Manchester. She also leaves behind her sister-in-law, Diane DeBlois and nephew Paul Trothier Jr. from Georgia, grandchildren Amanda Whary and her husband Christopher, Logan Ware, Kayla Ware, Cameron Ware and his husband Tyler Pierce, Amanda Coleman and her husband Matthew Lemear, Tessa Coleman and her husband Nicholas Smith and Audrey Coleman, great grandchildren Liam Whary, Kinsley, Harper and Cole Lemear. Lucille is predeceased by her grandson Brandon Ware and her later in life companion Ernest Hebert.

The family would like to thank the staff at Villa Crest for the wonderful care they provided to Mom through her battle with Alzheimer’s.
