She was born in Manchester on September 1, 1919 to Hector and Laura (Pelissier) Demers. She graduated from St. Anthony High School and was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
Miss Demers worked at J.F. McElwain Shoe Company for many years. She was a longtime communicant of St. Anthony Church.
The family includes four siblings, Roland Demers, Therese Demers and Gerard Demers all of Manchester and Rev. Francis Demers, OMI of Tewksbury, MA; and nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at St. Teresa Health Care Center, 519 Bridge St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
Memorial donations may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 114 Perimeter Rd., Unit G & H, Nashua, NH 03063.
