  Lucille J. (Duchesne) Lafond, 92, of Manchester, died December 18, 2024 at Elliot Hospital after a short illness.

 She was born in Manchester on July 25, 1932 to Joseph and Juliette (St. Gelais) Duchesne. She lived most of her life in Manchester and several years in Eliot, ME.

 She worked in Manchester throughout the years and retired from Triangle Credit Union after 10 years of service.

 Lucille loved to spend time with her family. She enjoyed going to Twin Rivers and Encore with her daughters, attending her grandchildren’s and great grandchildren’s sporting events, going to Newfound Lake and boating at Lake Winnipesaukee. She also loved traveling to California to be with her son and West Coast family and appreciated road trips to various vacation destinations.

 She volunteered at the Manchester Boys and Girls Club where she had organized the weekly Bingo. 

 She was predeceased by her parents and three siblings, Violet Deziel, Doris Soucy and Robert Duchesne.

 It is with heavy hearts that she will be missed an immeasurable amount, but never forgotten. 

 Lucille is survived by three children, Karen Lemery and her husband, Michael, of Manchester, Marc Lafond and his wife, Pam, of Seal Beach, CA and Jane Lafond of Manchester; four grandchildren, Kristopher Lemery and partner, Amelia Hayes, Brian Lafond and his wife, Lalani, Erin Lemery and partner, Tim Pappas and Amber Lafond and partner, Alex Lemus; six great grandchildren, Jordan Lemery, Conner Lemery, Klayton Lemery, Paisley Lafond, Braxton Lafond and Bentley Lafond; two step-great grandchildren, Molly Pappas and Westley Lemus.

 SERVICES: Calling hours are on Friday (12/27) from 10 a.m. to noon followed immediately at noon by a funeral ceremony, all at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. Committal prayers will follow at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.

 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to “Vision Gift” and mailed to 27-43 Wormwood St., Suite 100, Boston, MA 02210.
