Madeleine G. Brahm

She was born in Manchester on December 25, 1935 to Deus and Cecile (Nuttle) Lafond. She lived in Manchester for most of her life and in Myrtle Beach, SC for several years.

Madeleine worked at Sandy's Variety in Manchester for many years. She enjoyed reading, crafts, baking, watching sports and especially time spent with her family and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband, James R. Brahm, and by her sister, Jacqueline Lafond.

The family includes three daughters, Cynthia Barton and her husband, Brian, of Pittsfield, Brenda L. Hogan and her husband, Tom, of Campton, and Lisa B. Beidler and her husband, Jim, of Manchester; five grandchildren, Steven J. Barton and his wife, Missy and their children, Peyton and Gracie James, Jillian B. Craig and her children, Tyler and Connor, Jennifer Boucher, Marybeth Boucher and Jonathan J. Harry; four step grandchildren, Tom Hogan, Bryan Hogan, Colleen Foskey and her husband, Waylon and their children, Kayli-Ann, Allison and Ryan, and Ashley Hogan; a sister, Pauline Margetou and her husband, James, of Manchester; and several cousins, nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.

A funeral ceremony took place on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester.
