She was born in Manchester in 1923 to Joseph A. and Emerentienne B. (Gagnon) Bussiere. She graduated from Manchester High School West in 1941 and was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
Before marriage and motherhood, Mrs. Keaveney was employed by the Manchester Gas Company for 14 years. In 1968, she re-entered the workplace at New Hampshire Catholic Charities for 36 years, serving in many capacities, including office manager for several years.
She will be remembered as a caring and devoted wife, mother and friend.
She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas J. Keaveney in 1998; a sister, Rolande M. Beland; and a brother, Emile R. Bussiere.
Her family includes two children, Brian T. Keaveney of Manchester and Janice A. Keaveney Wargnier of Woodland Hills, CA; a sister, Beth L. Spencer of Somers, CT; a brother, Robert R. Bussiere of Manchester; two brothers-in-law, James V. Keaveney of Bedford and Millard Smith of Gilford; a sister-in-law, Joan Bussiere of Manchester; and cousins, nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: Calling hours are Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street, Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Cathedral, corner of Pine and Lowell streets, Manchester. Committal prayers will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, 448 Donald St., Bedford, NH.
