Madeline C. Laplume

Madeline C. (Gingras) Laplume, 83, of Bedford died February 25, 2002 at Ridgewood Center-Genesis Eldercare in Bedford after a long illness.

Born in Fitchburg, MA on September 5, 1918, she was the daughter of Napoleon and Clara (Breault) Gingras. She lived in Manchester most of her life.

Mrs. Laplume worked at J.F. McElwain Shoe Company in Manchester for many years. She was married to Maurice Laplume who died in 1978.

She was a loving mother and grandmother

The family includes a son, Maurice Laplume Jr. of Manchester; two daughters, Priscilla Major and Theresa Martineau both of Manchester; 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; three sisters, Carol Wojick of Dracut, MA, Ruth Barsamian of Lowell, MA and Mary Tisbert of Palmdale, CA; many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours were February 27, 2002 in Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street, Manchester. A mass of Christian burial was celebrated February 28, 2002 in St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 190 Meetinghouse Rd., Bedford. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
