Marc G. Croteau

Chiefland, FL

   Marc G. Croteau, 61, formerly of Manchester, died suddenly on August 7, 2022 in Gainesville, FL.

   Born on February 14, 1961, he was the son of George and Rita (Daigle) Croteau.  He grew up in the Village off Brown Avenue in Manchester and attended Manchester Memorial High School.  He enlisted in the Army and completed his service in 1984.

   Marc worked for Allied Company in Concord and transferred to Atlanta, GA when the company relocated.  He also worked at Quality Powder Coating in Georgia.

   He married the late Melissa “Robyn” Cowan in November 2017.  They remained in Georgia until July 2019 when they moved to Chiefland, FL.

   Marc was a loving husband, brother, uncle and friend and brought joy and love to many people.  His favorite pastime was riding his Harley and hanging out with his friends from AMVETS Post 42 in Chiefland.  He will be truly missed.

   He is survived by his sisters, Denise Weir and Bob Baucomb of Matthews, NC and Debra Magnon and her daughter, Remy Magnon, both of Manchester; a nephew, Scot and Mary Hannah Weir and their son, Jacob, of Santa Clara, CA; and two step-children, Rhonda Cagle and Craig Zeisig, both of Georgia.

   SERVICES: Calling hours are Tuesday (9/27) from 5 to 7 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester.  Burial will be at a later date at St. Augustin Cemetery in Manchester.
