Marc Robert Gregoire

September 8, 1965 — April 25, 2025

Manchester

Marc Robert Gregoire, 59, of Manchester, passed away in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his family and care providers on April 25th.

He was born on September 8, 1965 in Manchester, NH to parents Arthur and Doris (Rouleau) Gregoire. Born with Down Syndrome, Marc was educated in the Special Needs Program through the Moore center from the age of 3 until his passing.

Marc had so much pride with life experiences working and volunteering at Meals on Wheels, Goodwill Industries and many more, bussing tables.

He enjoyed his life to the fullest. An active participant in Special Olympics he loved playing on the basketball team, bowling, swimming, riding his bike, playing drums and singing. Above all, he was very active in Rainbow Theater. A gifted actor he was. Such a ham!

Traveling to Las Vegas, NYC, and Rye Beach were some of his most memorable performances with Rainbow Theater. He also loved spending time and traveling with his parents to Disney, going on road trips and cruises and spending time at Camp Fatima for the special needs week.

Through the years, he has touched the lives of many. Overall, he was Mom and Dad’s pride and joy, often referred to as “Their Little Angel”. Always happy and smiling, he loved joking and teasing his siblings. “Don’t leave your Pepsi or keys behind because you know they’ll be gone when you return” was a saying always leaving him grinning ear to ear.

He was predeceased by his mother, Doris Gregoire in 2016.

Family members include his father, Arthur Gregoire; his siblings, Robert Gregoire and wife Cheryl, Colette Brunelle and husband David, Pamela Gregoire and longtime companion Pete Hollis, Richard Gregoire and wife Danielle; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The family also includes his care providers for the last 10 years, Kathy and Rick Fosher and their family of labs and special friends, Bert and Robbie.

The family would like to thank the Merrimack VNA Hospice team for the support and care they provided Marc with for the past few months, especially in the last week with his decline and struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease.

An extra special Thank You to care providers Kathy and Rick Fosher, who gave Marc the best the world has to offer. The care, personal bond and abundance of love they had for Marc was irreplaceable. The promise they made to his parents to care for him until the end was met with grace and dignity!
