Marc P. Roberge, 56, of Manchester, died peacefully on March 31 at his residence with his life partner Kenneth "Kenny" Knight at his side.
Marc was born on April 23, 1965 and was the son of Antonio and Jeanne (Binette) Roberge.
He was raised and educated in Manchester. At the young age of 16 he showed his management abilities and was managing a Chuck E. Cheese and then Bickford's and several other local restaurants. He was employed by Verizon for 13 years and most recently was General Operations Manager for FiberCast.
Marc enjoyed being with family and friends. He enjoyed cooking and he loved to plan and prepare lavish banquets. He was a free spirit and lived life marching to the beat of his own drum.
He was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Marie Mears.
Surviving family members include his brother, Luc Roberge and his husband, Rickey Shepard Jr., of Manchester, NH; half-siblings, KerryAnn DeJesus of Boca Raton, FL and Scott Pintal of Meredith NH; his Godmother/aunt, Helen Guillemette of Methuen MA; his uncle and aunt, Roger and Alice Binette of Newbury, NH and his uncle, Louis Bonenfant of Illinois; his brother-in-law, David Mears, of Manchester and many cousins, nephews, and nieces.
SERVICES: A Celebration of Life will be held at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester on Sunday (5/1) from 2 to 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Marc's name may be made to Dartmouth Hitchcock Cancer Center in Lebanon NH, the American Cancer Society or any other institution of your choice.
