Marcel E. Bourque, 87, of Bedford died October 17, 2001 at Catholic Medical Center, Manchester after a brief illness.
Born in Manchester on July 18, 1914, he was the son of Phillippe and Alice (Soucy) Bourque. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester and Bedford.
Mr. Bourque worked 27 years at Lynch's Clothing Store in Manchester. He also worked at the "606" hobby store and the Little Red Doll House both in Manchester. For the last ten years he had been working at Sears in Manchester.
He was a member of the Richelieu Club and Prime Time.
He was married to Annette Plaisance who died in 1983.
The family includes a son, Robert M. Bourque of Bedford; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Gerald Bourque and Paul Bourque both of Manchester; a sister, Lucille Carignan of Keene; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were private.
