He was born in Manchester, June 2, 1917 to Arthur and Amanda (Pepin) LeBel. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester. He also had summered at his camp on Lake Winnisquam for many years where he enjoyed boating and fishing.
Mr. LeBel served in the US Army during World War II in Italy and North Africa.
He had worked as a meat cutter for Kilton's for many years.
He leaves two sisters in-law, Simone LeBel and Lise LeBel, both of Manchester; and several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
He was predeceased by numerous brothers and sisters as well as his longtime companion, Gilly Chandonnet.
The funeral was held on August 5, 2010 in the funeral home. Burial followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
