Marcel H. "Max" Raiche, 62, of Manchester died June 2, 2002 at Mt. Carmel Nursing Home, while visiting his mother, after a sudden illness.

Born in Manchester on July 15, 1939, he was the son of Edouard and Lucienne (Harris) Raiche. He lived in Manchester most of his life and four years in Ocala, FL.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves.

Mr. Raiche worked at Vermont Castings Factory Store in Merrimack for several years. He had also worked at Lechmere in Manchester for seven years.

The family includes his wife of 20 years, Lorri M. (Grace) Raiche of Manchester; four children, Brian Raiche of Manchester, Gary Raiche of Hooksett, and Lynn Alaimo and Shawn Raiche both of Manchester; 11 grandchildren; two sisters, Lorraine Lavigne and Paulette Auger both of Manchester; a brother, Robert E. Raiche Sr. of Manchester; a brother in law, Donald Auger of Manchester; cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial mass of Christian burial was celebrated Saturday June 8, 2002 in St. Catherine Church, corner of Webster and Hemlock streets, Manchester.
