Marcelle T. Laflamme

Marcelle T. (Chevalier) Laflamme, 78, formerly of Manchester, died January 10, 2005 at the Concord Hospital after a period of declining health.

She was born in Manchester on November 5, 1926, the daughter of Hector and Cecile (Dastou) Chevalier. She was educated in the Manchester school system.

She was a wonderful woman who loved spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed playing cards, socializing, and sharing her sparkling sense of humor with others.

Mrs. Laflamme had lived most of her life in Manchester until her husband's retirement. Since then, she had spent summers in Meredith, NH and winters in Ft. Myers, FL.

Members of her family include her husband of 56 years, Dr. Charles Laflamme of Meredith and Ft. Myers, FL; 6 daughters, Susan Marineau of Hooksett, Joan Pushee of Manchester, Celeste Post of Deerfield, Claudette Forand of Loudon, Charlene Langtry of Litchfield, and Ann-Marie Miller of Manchester; a son, Charles Laflamme of Manchester; 18 grandchildren; one sister, Simone Forgione of Brewster, MA;

She was pre-deceased by one sister, Claire Wright.

A mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Catherine Church on Thursday January 13, 2005. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
