Marcelle H. Sauvageau

Marcelle H. Sauvageau, 71, of Manchester died March 21, 2002 at Catholic Medical Center after a brief illness.

Born in Manchester on November 3, 1930, she was the daughter of George and Eva (Forcier) Sauvageau. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.

She was a graduate of St. George Grammar School, St. George High School and Notre Dame College all in Manchester.

Miss Sauvageau was a former member of the congregation of the Sisters of Holy Cross and was known as Sr. Paul Robert. During and after that time she taught at St. George Grammar School and St. Catherine School both in Manchester. She retired in 1999 after teaching for 25 years.

The family includes two sisters, Theresa F. Peloquin and Germaine Tkacz both of Manchester; two brothers, Robert L. Sauvageau of Manchester and Bertrand F. Sauvageau of Hampton and Bonita Springs FL; nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated March 23, 2002 in St. George Church, corner of Pine and Orange streets, Manchester. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd. Manchester.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Catherine School, Russell St., Manchester 03104.

Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester assisted the family with arrangements.
