Marcelle T. Vachon

Marcelle T. Vachon, 89, of Manchester died September 20, 2016 at Mt. Carmel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Amesbury, MA on February 25, 1927, she was the daughter of Romeo and Mildred (Peltier) Marsolais. She graduated from St. Anthony High School, class of 1945.
Prior to retirement, she had been employed by Armtech Industries for many years.
Marcelle will be remembered as a compassionate, kind, and loving person who always had a radiant smile for everyone she met. She was very fortunate to travel with her husband and her siblings and enjoyed many wonderful times with all of them. She enjoyed cooking, puzzles, music and dancing. Above all else, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend who cherished time spent with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth E. Vachon and two brothers, Leo and Paul Marsolais.
Family members include two sons, Kenneth R. Vachon and wife Jeanne of Litchfield, David A. Vachon and wife Nancy of Manchester; one daughter, Karen Bellemare and husband Russell of Plano, TX; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lorraine Amlaw of Manchester and Diane Larochelle of Goodyear, AZ; nephews, nieces and cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Monday, September 26, 2016 in the chapel at Mt. Carmel Nursing Home. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
