Marco G. Silveri

He was born in Milford on April 10, 1926 to Joseph and Laura (Diaferia) Silveri. He lived in Milford and Manchester for many years.

He served in the US Navy and had been a member of the American Legion Post 23 in Milford for 67 years.

Mr. Silveri worked at the Manchester City Library and retired from the Manchester School Department.

The family includes his wife of 52 years, Ida (Girolimon) Silveri of Manchester; a brother, Dante Silveri of New Jersey; and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, March 21, 2011 at St. Pius X Church, corner of Candia Road and Sarto Street, Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Riverside Cemetery, Milford.

Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, Manchester assisted the family with arrangements.
