She was born in Joliet, IL on December 13, 1918 to Charles and Margaret (Sullivan) Beasley. She was a graduate of the Traphagen School of Design in New York, NY and lived in Derry for many years.
She worked at Derry Bank and Trust from the time it opened and retired as assistant treasurer after many years. She was also a dress designer, owning and operating Marg of Derry, and she wrote the column "Derry Doings" for the Derry News.
She was a longtime communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Church and had volunteered for many organizations over many years.
IN HER LIFE: The family includes three children, John E de Redon of Boston, MA, Marguerite C. Cusson of Manchester and Mary E. Mielke and her husband, John, of Stratham; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren; a sister, Anne Hinrichs of Bridgeton, MO; lifelong friends, Elaine Rendo and her family of East Derry and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by six siblings.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday, April 2, 2011 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Ave., Derry. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
