Margaret M. (McGuire) De Blois, 73, of Manchester died March 4, 2017 after a brief illness surrounded by her loving family.
Born in County Mayo, Ireland on March 3, 1944, she was the daughter of Patrick and Mary (Mills) McGuire. Peggy came to live in the United State at 18 years of age. She received her degree in Early Childhood Education from New Hampshire College.
Prior to retirement, she owned and operated Educate Child Center in Manchester.
She will be remembered as a wonderful story teller who truly cherished time spent with children. She enjoyed walking the shoreline at the ocean, crocheting, and knitting and was an active member of the "Knitwit" club. She also enjoyed traveling back to her home in Ireland. Peggy learned to play the flute and enjoyed singing and listening to music.
Above all, she will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who cherished time with her family.
Family members include her husband of more than 51 years, Thomas De Blois of Manchester; her daughters, Tammy Dulude and husband Jon of Manchester , Heather Newell of Bedford,; her grandson, Thomas Newell of Bedford; her siblings, Kathleen, Nancy, Patricia, Bridget, Tony and Poric as well as many nephews, nieces and cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Thursday, March 9,2017 in St. Pius X Church. Committal prayers followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
