Sr. Margaret Mary Seguin, CSC (Sister Mary of St. Marguerita) 90, of Manchester, NH died March 9, 2016 after a period of declining health.
She was born in Burlington, VT on July 21, 1925, the daughter of Eugene and Orena (Fleury) Seguin. She entered the Sisters of Holy Cross in 1945 and made her final profession in 1952. She served her congregation for 70 years.
She received her BA from Notre Dame College in Manchester, and her MAT from St. Michael's College in Winooski, VT. She taught kindergarten through high school in Vermont, New Hampshire, Clayton, NY and Smithers, British Columbia. She also served her community at St. George Manor and Sacred Heart in West Franklin.
She leaves two sisters, Anna Lanoue and Mary Jane White, both of St. Albans, VT; several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
She was predeceased by five brothers, Albert, James, Billy, Harold and Eugene Seguin.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at St. Pius X Church, 575 Candia Rd., Manchester. Burial will be in St. Augustin Cemetery, Manchester.
